Margot Silk Forrest is a designer and artisan who creates custom-embellished one-of-a-kind shoes for weddings, proms, parties and other special events, or just for fun! Assistant Shoe Designer, Destiny Carter is an artist in many varieties of media
such as sculpture, pen & ink, pencil, acrylic paints, and graphic arts and is
apprenticing under Margot Silk Forrest to learn the fine points of wearable art.
Destiny recently won a merchant award in the Cambria Allied Arts Association's
2007 Prefix 9-2-7/9-2-4 Exhibition for a three-dimensional Celluclay figure on
canvas entitled eScape. Destiny is the primary graphic designer for her own custom
graphics and web design business,
Jolly Roger Graphics.
Destiny donned a pair of black, patent leather, knee-high, strappy sandals with a shocking 6.5" stiletto heel as she glided down the aisle at her Celtic-inspired wedding in March of 2004.
